Features of X-ray examination and contraindications

Only a dentist or a maxillofacial surgeon can issue a referral for a medical X-ray diagnosis of teeth or jaws to a User (patient). 

The use of X-ray examination methods in dentistry requires compliance with safety and caution, since X-ray radiation can harm both the patient and the doctor. 

The most important condition is the control of radiation doses, especially in pediatric radiology. 

The use of X-ray machines of the latest generation for examinations of dental patients makes it possible to significantly reduce the radiation dose and obtain a bright and detailed image of the area under study, which is very important for proper diagnosis. 

The examination on the X-ray machine of the new sample does not cause discomfort, since all the necessary images are taken very quickly and more safely than on the equipment of the previous generation. Therefore, the User (patient) alone decides where and when to conduct an X-ray examination.
